Digipak Disc Packaging
The Digipak disc packaging fuses the ideas of the jewel case and disc wallet packaging into one. Similar to a disc wallet, the Digipak opens like a booklet, but instead of having a pocket to slide in, the disc rests on a black or transparent tray that resembles the jewel case. The Digipak tray contains an additional cardboard piece that both protects the tray from damage and exhibits visual artwork. Digipak packaging usually comes as 4-panel, 6-panel, or 8-panel.
